- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth (AIP compliant)
- Herbs (rosemary, thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity with onion, carrots, and celery.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Add chicken broth and herbs around the turkey.
- Roast for 2-3 hours, basting every hour.
- Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use organic turkey for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on turkey size.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
