A traditional Amish dessert made with oats and a sweet, rich filling.
Ingrédients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 1 unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
- Beat in the eggs until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Great with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
