A hearty casserole perfect for Sunday meals.


Ingrédients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 cups hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion.
  3. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk.
  5. Add the cooked beef mixture to the bowl and stir well.
  6. Layer half of the hash browns in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour the beef mixture over the hash browns.
  8. Add the remaining hash browns on top.
  9. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
  • Use fresh vegetables if preferred.
