- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Brown the chicken on both sides for about 5 minutes.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Pour in apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.
- Add thyme and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove lid and cook for an additional 10 minutes to thicken sauce.
- Serve hot.
