Ingrédients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 5-10 minutes. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  5. Roll out the dough and spread the apple mixture on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and shape into a loaf.
  7. Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Use tart apples for best flavor.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Great served warm with butter.
