A delicious blend of cheesecake and apple crisp in a bread form.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients.
- Fold in cream cheese and diced apples.
- Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, oats, and nuts for the topping.
- Sprinkle the topping over the batter.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or cold.
- Use Granny Smith apples for a tart flavor.
