Ingrédients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and eggs.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in apples and pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cream over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
  8. Drizzle the praline mixture over the batter.
  9. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing.
