- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 pie crust
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Place the apple mixture in the pie crust.
- Dot with butter.
- Cover with top crust and cut slits for steam.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.

- Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
