  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Add flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add milk while stirring. Cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted.
  7. Add macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
