- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 banana, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mashed bananas, mix well.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 4 hours.
- Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cheesecake and top with sliced bananas.
