Description

Banoffee pie is a delicious dessert that combines bananas, cream, and toffee on a biscuit base.


Ingrédients

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 397g can of condensed milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 300ml double cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. Boil the condensed milk in a saucepan for 30 minutes to make toffee.
  6. Spread the toffee over the cooled biscuit base.
  7. Slice the bananas and layer them on top of the toffee.
  8. Whip the double cream and spread it over the bananas.
  9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
