Description
Bavarian cream doughnuts are light and fluffy pastries filled with rich Bavarian cream.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Bavarian cream
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Heat milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients.
- Add eggs and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Let the circles rise for another 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry doughnuts until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and fill with Bavarian cream.
Notes
- Use a piping bag for easy filling.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
