Description

Bavarian cream doughnuts are light and fluffy pastries filled with rich Bavarian cream.


Ingrédients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Bavarian cream
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Heat milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  7. Let the circles rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry doughnuts until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly and fill with Bavarian cream.
