Description
This recipe provides a simple way to make General Tso’s Chicken using an air fryer.

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with cornstarch mixture.
- Place coated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray chicken lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- Once chicken is cooked, toss it in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
