A delicious recipe for creamy scalloped potatoes layered with cheese.
Ingrédients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.
- Add half of the heavy cream and half of the cheeses.
- Add the remaining potatoes and repeat the process with the remaining garlic, salt, pepper, cream, and cheeses.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Try different cheeses for a unique flavor.
- Let leftovers cool before refrigerating.
