Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and cold water until dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough and fit it into pie pans.
  6. For pumpkin pie, blend pumpkin puree, brown sugar, spices, eggs, and cream.
  7. Pour pumpkin mixture into one pie crust.
  8. For apple pie, mix apple slices, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  9. Pour apple mixture into the second pie crust.
  10. Bake both pies for 15 minutes at 425°F, then reduce to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-40 minutes.
