- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Add flour, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
- In a baking dish, cut biscuits into quarters and layer them on the bottom.
- Pour the gravy mixture over the biscuits.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl and pour over the casserole.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
