- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brown butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together apple cider, brown butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased donut pan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Store donuts in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can glaze with a simple sugar glaze if desired.
