- 100g unsalted butter
- 150g sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a bowl.
- Whisk sugar and eggs until frothy.
- Add melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture.
- Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture and fold gently.
- Pour batter into a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Let it cool, then roll it up with parchment paper.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Unroll the cake, spread cream, and roll it back.
- Decorate the log as desired.
