A creamy and delicious homemade butter pecan ice cream.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add chopped pecans and toast for about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Stir in the toasted pecans and butter mixture.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pecans for best flavor.
- Make sure the mixture is completely chilled before churning.
- You can adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
