  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped pecans and toast for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Stir in the toasted pecans and butter mixture.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  6. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
