Description
A creamy and rich butter pecan ice cream with toasted pecans.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped pecans and toast for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Add the toasted pecans and butter mixture to the cream mixture and stir well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to toast the pecans for enhanced flavor.
- For a smoother texture, churn the ice cream longer.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
