Ingrédients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped pecans and toast for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  3. Add the toasted pecans and butter mixture to the cream mixture and stir well.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
