A delicious butter pecan praline poke cake topped with a rich praline sauce.


Ingrédients

  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Bake in a 9×13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Poke holes in the cake with a fork.
  6. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake.
  7. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread whipped cream over the cake.
  9. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together.
  10. Add chopped pecans and vanilla extract; cook for 3-5 minutes.
  11. Drizzle praline sauce over the cake.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
