Description
A delicious butter pecan praline poke cake topped with a rich praline sauce.
Ingrédients

- 1 box butter pecan cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake in a 9×13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake with a fork.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cake.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together.
- Add chopped pecans and vanilla extract; cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Drizzle praline sauce over the cake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Serve chilled for best flavor.
- Can be topped with additional pecans if desired.
