- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- Rub the butter mixture under the skin and all over the turkey.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.

- Adjust herbs according to your preference.
- Use fresh herbs for a stronger flavor.
- Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easy spreading.
