Soft and rich buttery brioche bread that is perfect for toasting or making French toast.
Ingrédients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and salt together.
- Add yeast mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Slowly add softened butter and knead until dough is smooth.
- Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the dough in a greased loaf pan and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Store in an airtight container to keep it soft.
- This bread is great for sandwiches.
