Ingrédients

- 1 lb Cajun sausage
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Slice Cajun sausage and add it to the skillet. Cook until browned.
- Stir in rice, chicken broth, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Serve with fresh parsley for garnish.
- Can substitute sausage with chicken or shrimp.
