Ingrédients

  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slice Cajun sausage and add it to the skillet. Cook until browned.
  5. Stir in rice, chicken broth, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
