A delicious caramel apple stuffed french toast casserole perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingrédients

- 8 slices of bread
- 2 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish.
- Layer half of the bread slices in the dish.
- Mix apples with caramel sauce and layer on top of bread.
- Top with remaining bread slices.
- Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over the bread layers.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra caramel sauce.
Notes
- Can be prepared a day in advance.
- Use any type of bread for variety.
- Adjust sweetness with more or less caramel.
