Description
Grilled marinated beef served with avocado salsa verde.
Ingrédients

- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 cup tomatillos, husked and chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak in olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the flank steak for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- In a blender, combine avocados, tomatillos, cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeño. Blend until smooth.
- Serve sliced steak topped with avocado salsa verde.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
- Can substitute flank steak with skirt steak if preferred.
