- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil cauliflower florets in salted water for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth.
- Stir in cheese, mustard powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cauliflower with cheese sauce and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Use any cheese you prefer.
- For a crunchy topping, add breadcrumbs before baking.
- Can be served as a side dish or main dish.
