Description

  • 1 cup masa harina
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate tablet or cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix masa harina with a little water to make a smooth paste.
  3. Once the water is boiling, slowly add the masa paste, stirring continuously.
  4. Add milk and continue stirring.
  5. Add chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  6. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
  7. Serve hot.

  • For a richer flavor, use whole milk.
