Description
A traditional Mexican chocolate drink made with masa and milk.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup masa harina
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate tablet or cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix masa harina with a little water to make a smooth paste.
- Once the water is boiling, slowly add the masa paste, stirring continuously.
- Add milk and continue stirring.
- Add chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk.
- Can add marshmallows or whipped cream on top.
