Description
Delicious cheddar bay crab cakes made with fresh crab meat and cheddar cheese.
Ingrédients

- 1 lb fresh crab meat
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use lump crab meat for better texture.
- Chill patties for 30 minutes before frying for better shape.
- Can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
