Ingrédients

  • 200g Gruyère cheese
  • 200g Emmental cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 300ml dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh bread cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
  2. Heat the wine and lemon juice in the pot over medium heat.
  3. Gradually add the grated cheeses, stirring continuously until melted.
  4. Mix cornstarch with a little wine and add to the cheese mixture.
  5. Season with black pepper.
  6. Serve with fresh bread cubes for dipping.

  • Use a good quality dry white wine.
  • Keep the pot on low heat to maintain the cheese consistency.
