- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter and mix with granulated and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over brownie batter.
- Top with remaining brownie batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- Serve with whipped cream for extra flavor.
