- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk and egg to the mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter.
- Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.

- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute fresh cherries for pie filling.
