Description
A simple recipe for making chicken shawarma using a loaf pan.
Ingrédients

- 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, spices, salt, pepper, yogurt, and lemon juice.
- Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat well with the marinade.
- Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Place the marinated chicken in a loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes.
- Check that the chicken is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with pita bread or rice.
- Add toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, and garlic sauce.
- You can use chicken breast instead of thighs for a leaner option.
