- 1 can chickpeas, drained
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Stir in chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until golden brown.
- Add diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Stir in chickpeas, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
- Add water to cover the mixture and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

- Serve with rice or naan.
