Ingrédients

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of red bean paste
  • 1/4 cup of dried fruits (apricots, raisins)
  • 1/4 cup of nuts (walnuts, almonds)
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain the rice and mix it with water in a steamer.
  4. Steam the rice for about 30 minutes until it is translucent.
  5. In a bowl, combine the red bean paste, dried fruits, nuts, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  6. Mix the steamed rice with the filling mixture.
  7. Shape the mixture into small cakes or balls.
  8. Steam the cakes for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.
