Ingrédients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. If desired, add red food coloring for a festive look.
  7. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking tray.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool before placing in the cookie box.
