Ingrédients

  • Glutinous rice flour – 2 cups
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Red bean paste – 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds – 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Mix glutinous rice flour and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add water gradually and stir until smooth.
  3. Grease a steamer with cooking oil.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the steamer.
  5. Spread red bean paste over the mixture.
  6. Pour the remaining mixture on top.
  7. Steam for 30 minutes until set.
  8. Let it cool and cut into squares.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • You can substitute red bean paste with other fillings.
