Ingrédients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fortune messages (paper slips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add oil, egg whites, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden.
  6. Remove cookies and quickly place a fortune slip in the center.
  7. Fold the cookie in half and then bend the edges to shape it.
  8. Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
