Ingrédients

  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Red food coloring
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix glutinous rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, and water in a bowl.
  2. Divide the mixture into two bowls; color one red and the other yellow.
  3. Grease a rooster-shaped mold.
  4. Pour the red mixture into the mold, filling it halfway.
  5. Add black sesame seeds for eyes.
  6. Pour the yellow mixture on top.
  7. Steam for 30 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Let cool before removing from the mold.
  9. Slice and serve during celebrations.
