Description

Delicious chocolate cinnamon rolls with a rich chocolate filling and a hint of cinnamon.


Ingrédients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Knead until smooth.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread melted butter and sprinkle with chocolate chips and cinnamon.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Warm rolls in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.
  • Top with icing if desired.
