Description
Chocolate hazelnut thumbprint cookies are sweet and nutty treats filled with chocolate.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup ground hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add the flour, ground hazelnuts, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with chocolate hazelnut spread.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
