  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture.
  5. Divide the batter in half; stir cocoa powder and milk into one half.
  6. Grease a loaf pan and alternate layers of pumpkin and chocolate batter.
  7. Swirl the batters with a knife for a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
