Ingrédients

- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 4 large eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200ml heavy cream
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until pale and fluffy.
- Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- Whip the cream to soft peaks and gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a cake tin and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled, garnished with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- Use high-quality dark chocolate for best results.
- Make sure the eggs are at room temperature for better volume.
