Ingrédients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Red and green sprinkles
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons water (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add milk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and combine.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before icing.
- Mix powdered sugar and water to create icing.
- Spread icing on cooled cake and top with sprinkles.
Notes
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
- You can add food coloring to the icing for more festive colors.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
