Ingrédients

  • 5 gallons of water
  • 8 lbs pale malt
  • 1 lb crystal malt
  • 1 lb roasted barley
  • 2 oz hops
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of honey

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a large pot.
  2. Add pale malt and crystal malt, stir well.
  3. Heat the mixture to 155°F for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove grains and bring to a boil.
  5. Add hops and boil for 60 minutes.
  6. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey during the last 15 minutes of boiling.
  7. Cool the mixture quickly and transfer to a fermentation vessel.
  8. Add yeast and seal the vessel.
  9. Ferment for 2 weeks at room temperature.
  10. Bottle the beer and let it carbonate for another week.
