Ingrédients

- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and mix in dried fruit and nuts.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
