- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 pound cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the egg mixture.
- Add the cubed bread, sausage, cheese, and green onions to the mixture.
- Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Prepare the casserole the night before for easier cooking in the morning.
- Use any type of cheese you prefer.
