Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in the dried fruits and nuts, then stir in the brandy.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
