A simple recipe for making delicious Christmas candy at home.
Ingrédients

- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon food coloring (red or green)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Increase heat and bring to a boil. Cook until mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and food coloring.
- If using, add chopped nuts and mix well.
- Pour mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use different food coloring for variety.
- Experiment with different nuts or add sprinkles for decoration.
