  • 6 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
  4. Add egg and extracts to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  6. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  7. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Let cookies cool completely.
  10. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water to make icing.
  11. Decorate cookies with royal icing as desired.
